Praxis, Crowley Webb's patient recruitment division, is looking for a temporary, full-time director, growth strategy to accelerate the company's expansion and market reach. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills, a strong understanding of the clinical trial landscape, and a proven track record in sales and proposal writing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation
  • Screen potential business partnerships by analyzing market strategies, study requirements, and financials
  • Adhere to all Praxis internal SOPs including logging of sales activities (ie. spreadsheets, CRM, etc.)
  • Build and maintain client relationships with key decision-makers at pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and CROs
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events and serve in a speaker role as needed
  • Stay informed and educate internal teams about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs
  • Provide coaching and mentorship as needed on topics such as identifying organic opportunities/upselling, closing a sale, and being an engaging successful presenter
  • Gather and communicate client feedback to support team growth

Strategy and Proposal Development
  • Analyze client needs and collaborate on strategic recommendations for patient recruitment solutions
  • Identify and evaluate new markets and service offerings
  • Work alongside and assist the strategy team throughout the RFP process contributing high-quality, customized responses
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project management, clinical operations, finance) to gather information and develop tailored solutions
  • Ensure proposals are compliant with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Assist with other RFIs and client requests, as applicable

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in a relevant field
  • 10+ years work experience in a related field (e.g., marketing, advertising, healthcare, business development)
  • Project management and/or CRM software experience (e.g.,Teamwork, Hubspot)
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategic initiatives within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving innovation and growth
  • Knowledge of (or willingness to learn about) data protection (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), HIPAA regulations, and maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Drive
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to prioritize workload and effectively manage timelines and deadlines

Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000 annually

Salary is always based on the unique set of skills, knowledge, and experience a candidate brings to the position.
