This role will develop the investor narrative and create the systems and infrastructure to continue building sell-side coverage while actively engaging the company's global investor base.

What you will be responsible for:

Investors / Analysts:

  • Serves as the key point of contact for the investment community.
  • Plans and oversees preparation for Investor Day meetings and Non-Deal Road Shows - including venue, presentation, invitations, follow up, etc.
  • Monitors analyst reports and summarizes for senior management.
  • Builds an understanding of the company among key groups that influence perceptions, including analysts, portfolio managers, research directors, heads of institutional investment departments and the stock exchange representatives.
  • Organize briefings for groups and individuals and set up meetings with senior company executives, such as the CEO or CFO, with key financial opinion leaders.
  • Build and manage professional relationships with sell side equity research analysts.
  • Track monthly turnover in shareholder base to identify and evaluate changes in the holder mix based on investment style, holding periods and geographic concentrations.


Communication:

  • Organize research into the attitudes of investors, analysts, and regulators; analyze the results, and recommend a communication strategy to improve the perception of the company in the financial community.
  • Communicate the company's markets, opportunities, strategies, business model and financial performance as well as be knowledgeable of the company's products, operations, people and values.
  • Develop investor presentations and marketing materials for quarterly earnings calls, institutional investor conferences, annual meetings and the IR website.
  • Serve as central source for educating and updating investors on the Company's performance and acts as primary spokesperson for analysts and investor communications.
  • Provide information to management and the Board about the Company's shareholders, changes in share ownership and will work to increase the Company's base of shareholders in a manner consistent with strategy.


Reporting:

  • Prepare press releases and assist with the production of SEC filings and annual reports for shareholders.


Strategy:

  • Provides feedback to management regarding the investment community's perception of how the company is being managed and their view of its financial results.
  • Analyze competitor performance to create industry trend reports.
  • Evaluate industry trends to assess company performance relative to macro drivers.
  • Establishes the optimum type and mix of shareholders and creates that mix through a variety of targeting initiatives.


Qualifications

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or twelve years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four or more years of public company investor relations experience preferred
  • Aviation experience preferred.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $171,000 to $261,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. [In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus.] AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
