As a Director of Logistics, you will have the opportunity to develop the vision for onsemi's future logistics network and systems and then lead the worldwide logistics team to execute on that vision. Responsibilities
Performance Objectives:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- Oversee all inbound and outbound transportation activities ensuring on-time delivery within budget
- Oversee service and cost performance at all Global Distribution centers
- Lead the worldwide onsemi logistics team (~60 members)
- Develop and enhance the onsemi logistics network and systems to deliver excellent performance and cost
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics partners
- Drive collaboration across stakeholder organizations and build strong working relationships
- Manage process failures and work with suppliers to implement effective corrective actions
- Manage customs, VAT, duties, and international trade compliance to ensure best in class standards
Qualifications
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent field from an accredited university
- 10+ years' experience in logistics management and transportation
- Highly adept with strategic thinking and execution
Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
- Understanding of the semiconductor industry
- Experience with integrations and divestitures desired
- Experience with onboarding, offloading, and consolidation of distribution centers
- Master's degree a plus
