Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related area required plus five years progressively responsible management experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Major/Essential Functions
Position is located in Lubbock, TX.
- This valuable team member shall perform work in a manner that reflects the Values of TTUHSC.
- Follows all safety policies and completes required safety training set by the TTUHSC Safety Services Office.
- Coordinates, implements, oversees and attends community events to represent the Laura W Bush Institute and Hospital partners projects.
- Serves as the liaison for all collaborative activities and initiatives between the Laura Bush Institute and health care partners.
- Coordinates and oversees activities of the Laura Bush Institute Community Advisory Board.
- Works closely with the Executive Director and Senior Directors of the Laura Bush Institute as a consultant on all Institute programs, projects, and initiatives.
- Community Outreach coordinator with health care partners as a consultant on all institute programs, projects and initiatives.
- Serve as a mentor to new hires in Director roles within the LWB Institute.
- Create a team environment, motivating team members and cultivating productive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel as needed.
- This position qualifies to work remotely. New employees will have a 90-day probationary period, at which time remote work will be discussed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with event planning and project management
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
