Overview
Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards major gift prospects ($25,000 and above) for the WakeMed Foundation. Assist in planning and executing programs, projects and activities designed to seek, receive and administer charitable contributions to the WakeMed Foundation. Responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with a portfolio of existing major gift prospects, as well as identifying and cultivating new prospects. The role will focus on securing major gift donations, though the Director is expected to support all aspects and levels of the WakeMed Foundation fundraising operation. Support volunteer and grateful patient programs, facilitating their cultivation, stewardship and prospect management activities in close coordination with other members of the Foundation team. The role will work closely with personnel across the health system to develop a deep knowledge and ability to translate institutional priorities to prospective donors and grateful patients.
