THE ROLE
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive ticket sales, brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth for One World Observatory (OWO). This role leads the planning and implementation of multi-channel campaigns, with a strong focus on performance optimization across all touchpoints.
A critical part of this position involves managing internal teams and agency partners, leveraging data to inform decisions, optimizing performance, and ensuring brand consistency across platforms. The ideal candidate brings extensive marketing and leadership experience, a proven track record of success in digital strategy and execution, and a creative, analytical, and results-driven mindset.

Competitive salary range of $150,000 - $160,0000 commensurate with experience and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan.

THE ROLE
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive ticket sales, brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth for One World Observatory (OWO). This role leads the planning and implementation of multi-channel campaigns, with a strong focus on performance optimization across all touchpoints.

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all digital marketing channels (e.g., eCommerce sites, emails and social media) and ensure optimized performance to drive ticket sales and brand consistency
- Work with Director of Sales to develop and manage the overall sales team marketing strategies and budgets on quarterly basis
- Focus on monthly/weekly/daily forecasting and reporting at channel level for traffic, revenue, spend, ROI and other performance KPIs
- Drive traffic, conversion, and ROI for all digital acquisition channels, including paid search, organic search/SEO, affiliate, display advertising
- Seek optimization, growth, and ticket conversion through a continuous cadence of A/B testing, customer segmentation, landing page optimization and more
- Supervise external agency relationships for key channels including paid search, organic search/SEO, affiliates, display advertising, social media, comparison shopping engines and marketplaces; provide strategic direction
- Work closely and maintain strong relationship with internal IT Department
- Satisfy other tasks as established by senior leadership
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline team members
- Ensure staffing levels for team based on business levels
- Organize and conduct departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the team
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure synergy across the two functions
- Provide guidance toward improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required from four-year college or university
- 5+ years of related experience, preferably in a high-volume sales management or marketing role; experience in tourism, events and/or high-volume attractions a plus
- Proven leadership experience in a sales environment including coaching, mentoring, hiring, training, and performance management
- Proven experience in integrated marketing planning and execution, including management of multiple marketing channels, as well as agency partners, to meet objectives
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong analytical and robust quantitative skills, including forecasting, ROI analysis, and data-driven problem-solving
- KPI-focused with experience in acquisition, conversion, and ROI optimization
- Ability to analyze data, research processes, ticket sales patterns, and demographic trends
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver strategic recommendations to senior management
- Strong leadership skills with effective delegation and stakeholder management experience
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects under tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organization and planning capabilities
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Skilled in communicating complex ideas in ways others can easily understand
- Experienced in managing relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Deep understanding of digital marketing and analytics, including paid search, SEO, display, social, and retargeting
- Demonstrable experience in driving web traffic, customer engagement, and click-through rates
- Skilled in designing and implementing web pages and content strategy
- Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics and other web metric systems
- Strong grasp of digital trends and best practices
- Knowledge of the Shopify platform is a plus
- Ability to work both traditional and non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, holidays) as required
