Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Marketing to join our team. As the Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive business growth and brand awareness. This is a leadership role that requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, market trends, managing staff, and the ability to drive results. You will work closely with our Executive Team.

What you'll do

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Canoga Perkins' Marketing Team.
  • Lead and manage our team of marketers to ensure the success of the product.
  • Create and maintain marketing budgets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate the performance of the marketing personnel and regularly give feedback to the team.
  • Make data-driven decisions to hit company goals.
  • Provide feedback to team members, collaborate with department heads, and provide progress reports to upper management.
  • Actively represent Canoga Perkins at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase our products and establish brand presence.
  • Plan and execute event marketing strategies to maximize exposure and lead generation.
  • Design, implement, and optimize marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and traditional channels.
  • Oversee content creation, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and values.
  • Own and maintain the company Brand Book.
  • Manage events, campaigns and product launches while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve impactful outcomes.
  • Identify and understand key market trends, opportunities and collaborate with product management to develop positioning against the competitive landscape to help guide strategic decisions.

The successful candidate will have experience in or knowledge of:
  • Proven experience as a Director of Marketing or similar role.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Ability to hit the ground running and exceed expectations for 18 months while company milestones are achieved.
  • Share the excitement and passion about bringing a groundbreaking product to market.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize, manage deadlines and thrive under pressure.
  • Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work with in-house management and employees as well as remote employees in different time zones.

What would be useful

It would be useful and advantageous for the candidate to have experience in or knowledge of:
  • Marketing campaigns, telecommunications industry knowledge, media expertise/relations.

Must Have

The successful candidate must have:
  • BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field plus 10+ years of consistent experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role. MBA is preferred.


The salary range for this position is $171,475 - 190,000 + Bonus. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
