Marketing and Communications also collaborates with resources on and off campus to provide the best possible support to foster Mount Royal's reputation and image as a premier Canadian undergraduate institution. This is accomplished by developing and implementing strategies to support the advancement of Mount Royal's institutional priorities, assisting with increasing the institution's profile and reputation, and acting as an integral resource within the campus community. This team of creative professionals provides service excellence by focusing on partnership, mutual goals, adapting to evolving needs and telling Mount Royal's story.
About the Role
At Mount Royal University, marketing isn't only about promoting programs, it's about shaping perceptions, driving conversations and inspiring connections. We're looking for a strategic and imaginative Director of Marketing to join our leadership team. Reporting to the Associate Vice-President of Marketing and Communications and working in collaboration with the Director of Communications, you will be focused on amplifying the University's brand and enhancing its reputation.

As the Director of Marketing, you'll lead a team of strategists, designers and content creators, responsible for shaping the University's visual identity, developing innovative campaigns and driving marketing strategies that resonate locally, nationally and internationally.

- Team Leadership (30%): Guide, mentor and inspire the Marketing team, fostering innovation and a commitment to excellence, while also providing collaborative support to the Communications team.
- Strategy Development (30%): Collaborate to create and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with institutional goals and measurable outcomes.
- Brand Management (20%): Serve as a steward of the Mount Royal brand, ensuring consistency and impact across all media and platforms.
- Campaign Management (20%): Delegate and oversee the creation and execution of compelling marketing and advertising campaigns that uphold and enhance the University's brand.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field considered an asset.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing and leadership experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in brand strategy, campaign management, creative direction and integrated marketing practices.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify, measure, adapt and enhance marketing initiatives based on clear key performance indicators.
- Proven ability to manage and inspire teams, driving engagement and high performance.
- Detail oriented, organized and self-motivated
Salary: $109,020.00 - $129,733.00
