Overview

You will be responsible for client and audio channel thought leadership while assisting supervisor and associate level team members with day-to-day operations and execution of our clients' national audio investments (this includes terrestrial radio, streaming radio, podcasting, and satellite radio). You will be working alongside team leadership to cover client upfront and scatter needs: negotiations, IO stewardship, optimization, billing, and analyzing post-campaign delivery reports.

Our ideal candidate will oversee current campaigns as well as be a part of new campaign planning and development. This includes communicating directly with clients throughout the campaign(s) to understand any requests

Responsibilities

  • Provide pricing benchmarks, staffing proposals, audio strategy guidance for new and prospective clients
  • Innovation development and thought leadership with negotiations, targeting, measurement, etc.
  • Manage team's account responsibilities and conflict management across Groupe
  • Manage Groupe spend reports, forecasts, client allocation/pacing
  • Lead agency landscape presentations
  • Lead holistic buying implementation across terrestrial, streaming, podcasting, and satellite.
  • Lead vendor relationships and manage innovative opportunities and POVs to clients
  • Assist client facing presentations including audio landscape/innovation, upfront negotiations, JBPs, sponsorships, etc.
  • Negotiate and manage sponsorships, JBPs, etc.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in media buying & team management
  • Strong experience with negotiations and client leadership
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the current national audio landscape
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
  • Detail oriented and able to produce accurate work
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience with buying/research programs Act1, Spectra OX, and Prisma preferred
  • Proven ability to understand strategic account functions including scope, talent, accounting, fees, etc.

Compensation Range: $119,510 - $188,025 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
