About the Position

Bridgeway is searching for a high energy, results driven leader with an analytical approach to coaching the team. A successful candidate will leverage technology, tools and resources to streamline workflow processes and enforce a positive and high-performance culture.

The Director of Network Operations will be responsible for overseeing the central dispatch and freight solutions teams. The primary responsibilities of the teams are to ensure the owner-operator network of truck capacity has visibility to load opportunities, assist agents with determining the right capacity strategy to service customers for long-term success and provide guidance on load posting practices that promote visibility and higher than average conversion rates.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide active coaching & leadership to onsite & remote team members
  • Communicate clear expectations of metrics & goals
  • Establish regular review meetings with team members to ensure key metrics are being achieved
  • Collaborate in planning, design, development, testing, and implementing new technology or enhancements to existing technology
  • Monitor, and report on, department performance to ensure KPI's are above desired target levels
  • Continually demand, and inspect the delivery of, exemplary service to all customers to drive customer satisfaction and retention
  • Ensure that the Bridgeway brands are a destination of choice for independent owner-operators by ensuring contractor satisfaction and excellent customer service
  • Maintain thorough working knowledge of all services offered

Qualifications:
  • Trucking dispatch experience, preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and a collaborative management style
  • Excellent verbal, organizational, writing and presentation skills
  • Analytical and data-driven leadership
  • Strategic thinking with financial acumen to grow the business while maintaining and retaining current business
  • Knowledge of DOT & FMCSA legal rules, regulations, and guidelines
  • Proven track record of developing and engaging people to achieve superior results
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change
  • Advanced level skills with Microsoft Suite applications
