POSITION SUMMARY:

The incumbent will provide leadership and strategic direction for adult forensic services and associated community-based programs in support of Gracepoint, Inc.'s mission through defined services and developed procedures. Responsible for monitoring program performance, completing required reports under applicable standards, and action necessary to address deficiencies. Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships needed for the proper functioning of the program and lead the team with demonstrated compassion and empathy. Reports to and functions under the direction and supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in human service disciplines such as social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, etc. plus a minimum of 5 years relevant postgraduate supervisory work experience in acute care and residential settings. LMHC or LCSW preferred. Must have a reliable source of transportation, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance if driving while on the job.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Plan, organize, and effectively present ideas and concepts to groups. Assimilate information/data from a variety of sources, analyze information, and recommend courses of action to be taken.
  • Oversee and manage staff to ensure coverage, to minimize overtime and to foster positive employee relations.
  • Establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with community agencies and effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) with managers, patients, service providers, family members, and the general public.
  • Knowledge of clinical symptomatology including relevant DSM-V diagnoses and corresponding medical necessity criteria for services. Also, maintain fundamental knowledge of managed care 3rd party payers.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret clinical records, procedures, or governmental regulations to ensure compliance and quality patient care.
  • Ensure timely completion of programmatic and agency-wide reports, and monthly KPI's. Implement and monitor action plans for improvement when warranted.
  • Management of material and financial resources. Administers fiscal operations, such as authorizing expenditures and overseeing the financial aspects of programs.

  • Adheres to all applicable federal, state, local, and company-maintained standards of compliance, ethics, and policies concerned with the administration and delivery of agency services.
  • Meets deadlines, requirements, and expectations as established by the supervisor, agency, and department.
  • Completes administrative functions and data entry timely and accurate.

  • Provides exceptional customer service in all communications and interactions with staff and the general public.
  • Maintains confidentiality and remains calm under stress.
  • Assists staff with support in all areas of functional responsibility in a courteous, supportive manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Abilities in reaching, bending, talking, fingering, sitting, carrying, standing, grasping, fine hand coordination, ability to hear, ability to read and write, and the ability to remain calm under stress. Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of weight alone. May be required to complete standing presentations involving speaking and listening to the audience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

General office, health care setting. Most work is completed while seated at a desk using standard office equipment. Fast-paced team approach. Multi-tasking requires above average time management skills.
