Director of Athletics (Grades 7-12) - Troy City Schools

Troy City Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Athletics for grades 7-12. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the district's athletic programs, ensuring excellence in sportsmanship, student-athlete development, and program administration.
Position Details:

• Reports to: High School Principal
• Salary Range: $125,766 - $141,486
• Work Year: 260 days per year
• Start Date: August 1, 2025

Qualifications:

• Required:
  
  • Valid Ohio Educator's License
• Preferred:
  
  • Ohio Administrator's License (or willingness to work toward obtaining one)
  • Experience in school administration or athletic administration

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the district's 7-12 athletic programs
• Ensure compliance with OHSAA regulations and school policies
• Oversee hiring, training, and evaluation of coaches
• Manage athletic budgets and facility operations
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community
• Promote sportsmanship, academic achievement, and student-athlete well-being
