Director of Business Development (External Wholesaler)
Location: Montreal, Quebec
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 base salary + commission

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development (External Wholesaler) to expand our presence within the Investment Advisor community and High Net Worth individual investors. This individual will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisors, driving sales growth, and promoting our alternative investment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to increase distribution of the firm's investment products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors at independent shops and high-net-worth individuals
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and training sessions to educate advisors on our alternative investment solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Provide ongoing support to advisors, ensuring they have the necessary resources and insights to successfully integrate our offerings into their client portfolios.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Wholesaler in the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of building and managing relationships with financial advisors at independent shops.
-Added bonus for candidates who have a network of high-net-worth individual investors (preferred but not a mandatory requirement)
- Strong knowledge of alternative investments and financial markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Must be bilingual (French and English)
