Summary:

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for driving the strategic growth initiatives of the company by identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities. This role involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, overseeing business partnerships, and leading efforts to expand the company's market presence and revenue streams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning - Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Market Research - Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities.
  • Partnership Development - Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances to support business growth
  • Sales & Growth - Drive revenue generation by acquiring new customers and expanding relationships with existing clients.
  • Proposal Development - Oversee the creation and delivery of compelling business proposals and presentations.
  • Performance Monitoring - Set KPI's and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, sales, product development, and finance to align growth initiatives.
  • Contract Negotiation - Lead Contract discussions and ensure favorable terms for the company.
  • Brand Representation - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Any other assigned tasks requested by Vice President Business Development.
  • Up to 75% Travel Annually.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue and market expansion targets.
  • Strong Negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in Managing Cross-Functional teams and complex projects.
  • Knowledge of Leak Survey/Integrity Management, Line Locating, & Customer Service work for both public & private utilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM & Software Sales Tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess business opportunities & risks.

Requirements/ Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) Regulations.
  • CFR 192
  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines for methane emission monitoring
  • Local & State Specific Compliance Requirements


*Position will temporarily be remote and may be transitioned to an in office role.*
