Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify high-potential accounts to enlarge the customer base.
- Develop a strategic entry plan for new accounts, and design targeted prospecting campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand their business needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to tailor solutions that align with the customer's business objectives.
- Lead negotiations and close large-scale deals with new clients to meet revenue targets.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies accordingly.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 10 years in direct B2B sales, specifically targeting Fortune 1000 companies.
- Proven record of successful new business development with large volume sales ($250k+ per sale).
- Familiarity with sales cycles varying from three months to one year.
- Evidence of career stability, with no more than three job changes in the last ten years.
- Compensation history that includes highly leveraged commissions and bonuses.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Certifications in Sales Management or a related professional area.
- Experience in a leadership or managerial role, directing sales teams.
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex data and convert it into actionable strategies.
- Experience in the customer engagement industry is highly preferred.
