Job Summary/Basic Function
The Director of Career Integration and Workforce Development is responsible for overseeing employer relations, creating career readiness and life design programs, driving development initiatives, and promoting student and alumni success in the workforce. They are responsible for creating a comprehensive program to connect WSU students and alumni with industry partners, generating career pathways for WSU students. This role requires a strategic leader who is passionate about supporting students' career development and strengthening connections between the university and industry partners. Must be able to work some evening hours and weekends as the position may require irregular office hours.

Required Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Business, Counseling, Advising, Higher Education, or a related field.
- 3 years professional staff supervision experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
- 5 years experience working in a leadership role within a university setting, with supervision responsibilities of staff and student employees.
- Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail to oversee multiple initiatives.
- Proficient (or demonstrate ability to be proficient) in Microsoft office, google suite, zoom, student success technology platforms, instructional platforms, budget management tools, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with fundraising and development activities, including donor stewardship and event planning.
- Familiarity with trends and best practices in employer recruitment and career readiness curriculum.
