As a Global Channel Excellence Director at Honeywell PMC you will be accountable for guiding and overseeing the channel excellence function within our organization. Your role will involve developing and executing comprehensive strategies to drive growth and maximize sales through our distribution and partner channels. You will play a critical role in building strong relationships with channel partners, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement in channel performance.

You will report directly to our Chief Commercial Officer and you'll work out of the Honeywell Industrial Automation headquarter in Houston, TX.

In this role, you will have a transformative impact on the company's channel strategies and overall business success; you will be accountable for developing and implementing channel excellence plans, driving revenue growth, and optimizing channel performance.

Your expertise in channel marketing, customer segmentation, and channel optimization will be instrumental in identifying new market opportunities, expanding market reach, and increasing customer acquisition.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective communication skills will be essential in aligning channel excellence efforts with overall business strategic objectives. By providing strategic direction and guidance, you will shape the future of PMC's channel excellence initiatives and contribute to its position as a global technology product business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy to identify geographical areas and verticals where PMC coverage is low and drive an actionable plan for growth in these areas.
  • Implement the Honeywell channel excellence GDM (Global Design Model) and leverage it as a tool for growth in PMC.
  • Support and engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Channel Partners, Honeywell corporate, account and sales managers to achieve fast channel excellence and strategic growth initiatives adoption.
  • Work with channel partners to develop and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage channel performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and mentor regional channel account managers, ensuring that the best talent and skills are in place for effective channel management.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align channel excellence efforts with overall business strategic objectives

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven experience of at least 10 years in channel management or related roles
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive channel strategies
  • Strong guidance and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and people-oriented skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners
  • Proficiency in channel marketing, customer segmentation, and channel optimization
  • Ability to develop and mentor a team of channel account managers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (preferred)
