Job Description
Seeking a Director of Regulatory Compliance to manage the effective implementation of the regulatory compliance components and Compliance Program across the health system. This role will oversee a team responsible for ensuring compliance with federal healthcare program requirements, Parkland policy, and the Code of Conduct and Ethics.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree is Required, master's degree preferred.
Minimum eight (8) years' experience in healthcare operations or compliance, preferably with a large, multi-faceted healthcare company or academic medical center. Required
Experience with information privacy and security-related activities such as investigations and reporting, auditing and monitoring, education and training, risk assessments and mitigation/remediation procedures.
May have an equivalent combination of experience and certification in lieu of specific education requirements.
Certification/Registration/Licensure Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance policies, procedures, and standards.
Oversee risk auditing and monitoring procedures to detect and address violations.
Ensure continuous improvement of the compliance and privacy program, including staff training, risk assessment, and corrective actions.
Act as the departmental project manager for system-wide initiatives with a regulatory compliance component.
Serve as the organizational Privacy Officer overseeing privacy compliance with federal and state laws.
Manage responses to third-party audits and inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate information.
Coordinate with organizational leaders to assess and mitigate regulatory risks.
Lead and develop a team of compliance professionals, fostering a 'speak up' culture free from retaliation.
Chair or Co-Chair various compliance committees as necessary.
