The position is for an experienced Contract professional to work directly with the Contracts Executive Council (CEC), the Inc. Contracts Learning and Development (L&D) Committee, BAE Systems plc Commercial representatives, and other senior leadership at BAE Systems.

The position is for an experienced Contract professional to work directly with the Contracts Executive Council (CEC), the Inc. Contracts Learning and Development (L&D) Committee, BAE Systems plc Commercial representatives, and other senior leadership at BAE Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and attends Inc. level bid reviews, CEC meetings and all Contracts functional events;
- Works closely with the Inc. Contracts L&D Committee to recommend and deliver various training programs and workshops for the Contracts function;
- Responsible for leading FAR council associated with coordinating with various other internal BAE functions on future and current legislative/regulatory changes;
- Inc. Approval Management (RBAs, ITTs, ALCAs, etc.);
- Inc. representative on the Inc. Contracts Learning & Development Committee;
- Drafting and distributing Inc. Contracts communications and correspondence for the Vice President of Contracts;
- Serve as the internal and external point of contact for contracts inquiries regarding BAE Systems, Inc.;
- Responsible for coordinating/analyzing all data requests with the various sector Contract Leads and sector Contract Ops Leads.

Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor Degree with 12+ year's relevant defense industry experience;
- Active Secret Clearance;
- Contract management experience on complex programs;
- Proven ability to understand, interpret & improve a company's policies and procedures;
- Working to excellent knowledge of corporate policies and procedures, coupled with ability to identify required improvement to established policies and to communicate implementation procedures to others;
- Good presentation, leadership and management skills. Use of independent judgment and creativity applied to resolution of contract issues;
- Excellent organizational agility and business acumen skills;
- Emerging ability to excel in upper-level management environment;
- Demonstrated ability for process improvement;
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Master's Degree;
- Lean Six Sigma Certification or equivalent experience;
- Top Secret clearance.
