Director of Contracts/ Facility Security OfficerLocation: San Francisco, CA (In-person, Full-time)

Seeking a highly skilled Director of Contracts (Public Sector) / Facility Security Officer to manage government contracts from initiation to completion and oversee secured facilities. This role requires strong business judgment, deep knowledge of federal procurement regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management:

Oversee the full lifecycle of government contracts, including negotiations, risk management, compliance, and execution. Develop and implement contractual and negotiation strategies. Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other procurement regulations. Support business development by preparing and managing teaming agreements and responding to RFPs. Analyze and review solicitations to assess potential risks and propose mitigation strategies. Maintain effective communication with government clients and internal teams to ensure contract obligations are met.

Facility Security Oversight:

Manage secured facilities in compliance with classified government program requirements. Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures. Oversee security training and reporting in alignment with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or 10+ years of professional experience in contract management within the government sector. 5+ years of experience in US Government/DoD contracting, procurement regulations, and contract negotiations. Strong expertise in FAR, DFARS, and government acquisition processes. Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI US Government security clearance. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of experience managing government contracts and subcontracts. NCMA Certified Federal Contracts Manager or equivalent certification. Experience with cost/price analysis, supplier negotiations, and risk assessment. Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, charts, and graphs).
