As the Director of Data Analytics at Warner Pacific your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at leveraging data to inform strategic decisions and optimize business processes. This role involves managing analysts, overseeing data collection, analysis, interpretation, and collaborating with various departments to implement data-driven solutions. This role will also work closely with our Mergers & Acquisition Team ensuring that Warner is able to make data-informed decisions as we grow the company. You will be a champion for establishing a data-driven culture here at Warner.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Establishing Data & reporting infrastructure
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop analytics strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Managing analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of analytics projects.
  • Overseeing the collection, cleansing, and analysis of data from various sources
  • Understanding key performance indicators (KPIs) and building dashboards to monitor business performance and track the effectiveness of various initiatives.
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports and presentations to senior management, summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with various departments to integrate analytics into decision-making processes and improve overall business performance.
  • Acting as the analytics lead for our Mergers & Acquistions team
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance analytical capabilities and processes.
  • Managing relationships with our data analytics vendors
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards and establishing data governance frameworks to maintain data integrity and security.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in analytics or data science roles within the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and actuarial concepts is desirable.
  • Responsible for backlog of data projects
  • Responsible for maintenance of KPI dashboards for key functional areas
  • Responsible for development of analysts on the team including assessment of skills versus analytics competencies

Compensation
  • Annual Salary Range*: $135,000 - $190,000 per year
  • Actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education, and/or skill level.
