The European division of Holley Performance Products houses the iconic APR and Dinan brands. We're focused on expanding our Original Equipment (OE) dealer network to include new BMW & Mini dealerships under the Dinan brand, and Audi, VW, and Porsche dealerships under the APR brand. We are looking for a passionate and self-driven individual to join our team as the Director of Dealer Development.

Job Summary:

The Director of Dealer Development will be responsible for signing up new OE dealers, educating and training dealership staff, and developing dealership-specific programs to enhance sales and growth. This role requires extensive travel (up to 70% per year) primarily focused on the East Coast. The ideal candidate will be a German car enthusiast with a strong sales background and dealership experience. This position reports to the Holley Tuning Group Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sign Up New OE Dealers: Identify and onboard new OE dealers within the BMW, Mini, Audi, VW, and Porsche networks.
  • Educate and Train Dealership Staff: Provide comprehensive training to dealership finance and sales teams on how to effectively sell packages with new vehicles.
  • Develop and Implement Sales Programs: Create and execute dealership-specific programs to boost sales and growth.
  • Travel to Dealers: Focus initially on traveling to dealerships located on the East Coast, with travel potentially up to 70% of the year.
  • Sales and Account Management: Access and manage dealer accounts, pushing sales and ensuring growth.
  • Weekly Updates: Provide regular updates in manager meetings on progress and achievements.
  • Office Time: Spend time in the Opelika, Al office learning new products, setting up new appointments, and designing sales and training materials.


Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales with a background in dealership operations or as a traveling account manager.
  • Skills: Self-driven, problem solver with a strong focus on sales.
  • Enthusiasm: Passion for German cars and the automotive industry.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70% per year).
  • Location: Ideally based out of the Opelika, Al office.
