What you can expect as our Director of Development Operations
As our Director of Development Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Perkins' fundraising success by managing essential functions such as data management, fiscal reporting, gift processing and acknowledgment, and budgeting. You will lead efforts to strengthen our fundraising activities, proactively anticipate technological advancements, and uphold best practices for donor stewardship. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help define, communicate, and execute internal processes effectively.

What you can expect as our Director of Development Operations
As our Director of Development Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Perkins' fundraising success by managing essential functions such as data management, fiscal reporting, gift processing and acknowledgment, and budgeting. You will lead efforts to strengthen our fundraising activities, proactively anticipate technological advancements, and uphold best practices for donor stewardship. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help define, communicate, and execute internal processes effectively.
We'd love to talk with you if you have many of the following:
- Oversight of our Development CRM (Salesforce Nonprofit) ensuring seamless integration with online fundraising platforms, event registrations forms and document storage systems
- Enhance reporting and data analysis processes, tracking key performance indicators (KPI's) while supporting benchmarking and analysis
- Manage and track various gift vehicles, ensuring all gifts are properly recorded and acknowledged in the donor database
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, monitoring financial performance and progress throughout the year
- Perform monthly reconciliation of donation data to ensure accurate financial reporting for audits and 990 filings, as well as timely distribution of monthly revenue and progress updates
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in fundraising development and management with expertise in fundraising software/CRM systems, Salesforce Non Profit preferred
- Proficiency in G-suite, Microsoft Office and familiarity with with nonprofit financial reporting and compliance standards
- Proven track record in process improvement, data analysis, and systems optimization
- Strong supervisory skills and relationship building skills, with the ability to collaborate across the organization
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
