Basic Function:
The Director of Digital Health leads the development and implementation of digital health solutions, creating pathways to accelerate the application of digital health solutions in all projects and programs so that more health workers are able to perform optimally in their jobs. This individual will be responsible for spearheading healthcare technology tools, data management, and digital health advancements within our QIN-QIO work. The Director of Digital Health will be fully dedicated to the awarded task order, serving as the driving force behind our digital transformation initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of healthcare technology tools, data management strategies, and digital health solutions to support our QIN-QIO work.
- Collaborate with technical teams, customers, and leadership to drive innovation and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including those related to medical records, health data security, and clinical documentation improvement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing across functional teams to maximize the impact of digital health initiatives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, conveying complex technical concepts in clear and concise terms.
- Drive the development and implementation of a clinical documentation improvement program to enhance the accuracy and completeness of medical records.

Skills / Professional Competencies Required:
- Strong understanding of medical records, health data security, and relevant domain-specific regulations.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across functional teams and organizational levels.
- Proven track-record of leadership and team development in a technical environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact culturally, linguistically, and diplomatically with diverse internal and external individuals.
- Experience with clinical documentation improvement programs preferred.
- Familiar with various electronic health records (EHRs) and their reporting capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for driving digital innovation in healthcare.
Minimum Education/Training Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
Minimum Experience Required:
- 8+ years of professional experience in technical roles, such as solutions architecture or software engineering, with a focus on healthcare technology.
- 5 years minimum of progressive leadership experience.
