Director of Digital Strategy

Overview:

As the Director of Digital Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital footprint and enhancing revenue streams through innovative digital marketing and strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital strategies that align with our business objectives, elevate brand visibility, and drive bookings across all digital channels.

  • Prepare and implement digital strategy and provide budget recommendations and media plans.
  • Lead digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (SEO, SEM, email marketing, pay per click campaigns) to drive traffic and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, revenue management, operations) to optimize digital distribution channels and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Utilize data analytics and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer behavior insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics, ROI, and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to keep our digital strategies innovative and competitive.


Supportive Functions:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be determined by the requirements of each hotel.
  • Professionally represent the hotel by participating in hotel owner meetings, hotel brand, and industry functions.
  • Other digital strategy related tasks as assigned.


Other Functions:
  • Travel as required to property meetings, training, industry events, and corporate meetings.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
  • Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Crestline Hotels & Resorts rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel's facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.


Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue management, digital strategy, or digital marketing within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing digital marketing campaigns and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, pay per click, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends and make strategic recommendations.
  • Experience managing relationships with OTAs and third-party booking platforms.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
