Description:
The Pierre Hotel is seeking a strategic, results-driven, and highly motivated Director of Diplomatic Sales to lead and expand our presence in the diplomatic, government, and international business sectors. This role is responsible for driving revenue and market share within key segments, including group and transient diplomatic sales, long-term stays, and luxury leisure and corporate business. The Director will develop and implement high-impact sales strategies to build strong client relationships, increase suite sales, and establish The Pierre as the preferred luxury destination for the diplomatic community and global clientele. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach to identifying and capturing new business while nurturing and expanding existing client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to grow revenue in the diplomatic, government, long-term stay, and luxury corporate segments, with a strong emphasis on suite sales.
- Identify, cultivate, and convert high-potential accounts to increase market share within the diplomatic community and affiliated organizations.
- Conduct in-depth territory and industry analysis to identify emerging markets, top-performing accounts, and new revenue opportunities.
- Spearhead sales initiatives to attract embassies, consulates, government delegations, international organizations, and high-net-worth individuals with diplomatic affiliations.
Client Relationship Management
- Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with high-profile diplomatic officials, international business leaders, government representatives, and global corporate executives.
- Act as a trusted advisor and liaison for diplomatic clients, ensuring their unique needs and expectations are met with the highest level of luxury service.
- Conduct persuasive and compelling sales presentations to key decision-makers, demonstrating The Pierre's exclusivity, prestige, and unparalleled service.
Revenue Growth & Performance Management
- Maximize revenue opportunities by leveraging market intelligence tools to gain competitive insights.
- Monitor competitor activities, stay ahead of market dynamics, and adjust sales strategies accordingly to optimize revenue and maintain The Pierre's leadership position.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and exceptional service delivery, with all client inquiries.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management to align pricing, availability, and promotional strategies for high-demand diplomatic travel periods.
- Report key performance metrics, sales progress, and market insights to senior leadership, making data-driven recommendations to enhance revenue generation.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a senior representative of The Pierre in diplomatic and luxury hospitality networks, enhancing brand visibility and positioning.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Marketing, Catering, and Guest Services, to ensure seamless execution of diplomatic events, long-term stays, and high-profile delegations.
- Mentor and guide junior sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and high performance.
- Uphold The Pierre's prestige, integrity, and commitment to luxury hospitality in all sales interactions and client engagements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of luxury hotel sales experience, with a strong track record in diplomatic, government, and corporate sales.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Established relationships within the diplomatic community, international organizations, and global corporate sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, penetrate new markets, and close high-value sales deals.
- Strong negotiation skills with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality sales dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically as needed for client engagement, trade shows, and diplomatic events.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven with the ability to work independently and remotely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and systems to manage client data and sales reporting.
- Represent The Pierre in a manner consistent with Taj standards.
