Summary of Position:

The Director of EV Infrastructure will drive the strategic growth and execution within the Electric Vehicle sector of CSG. This role oversees all market activities including setting and executing on market strategy, financial management, and compliance. The Director of EV Infrastructure leads client relationship management, business development, and operational efficiency across our EV business and throughout our matrix organization.

You have a deep understanding of market trends, fee structures, and industry dynamics related to EV Infrastructure. You have exceptional client relationship management skills, with the ability to navigate complex interactions effectively. You have strong business and financial acumen, including financial and resources forecasting. You thrive in business development and have the negotiation skills to close deals. Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to drive growth in EV infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands.
  • Market Analysis: Partners with team leaders and Business Development in monitoring and analyzing market trends, fees, and overall industry pulse to inform decision-making and identify new business opportunities.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage market financials including P&L, accounts receivable, budgeting, and indirect costs, ensuring short- and long-term profitability and financial health.
  • Business Development: Lead and -partner with Business Development team to identify, pursue and close on new clients and/or projects.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention through effective communication and consistent, high-quality deliverables. Oversee Quarterly Business Reviews and provide comprehensive reporting on project performance, financials and client feedback.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead and finalize commercial contract negotiations, including fee structures and terms that align with business objectives.
  • Forecasting: Forecast financial, workload, and resource needs for upcoming projects, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across the service business lines
  • Policy Development: Create and enforce policies to ensure customer and market compliance, which is consistent with customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred
  • PE and/or PMP a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in the alternative energy space; 5+ years of experience in the EV sector
  • Managing business P&L statements in a matrix organization
  • Proven track record managing clients, organizational finances, and program management
  • Computer proficiency / MS Office
  • Financials Statements
  • Reading Construction and legal documents

Team:

You will work with our Energy team report to the Vice President.

Work Location:

This is a hybrid role based out of our Ontario, CA office. Please expect to travel nationally 30%+ of the time.
