About the Role

The Director of Faith Engagement will be primarily responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with houses of worship and ministry leaders, and expanding Wonder Project's influence within faith communities. This team member will spearhead engagement and outreach efforts, establish a ministry ambassador program, and develop strategic partnerships with leaders that deepen the relationships Wonder, its content and its creators have with faith communities.

The ideal candidate will play a central role in building a movement around our television and theatrical releases, combining deep affinity and respect for local churches and houses of worship while also helping Wonder's grassroots team achieve its goals. Additionally, they will define what it means to be a church or faith partner of Wonder Project, creating a compelling incentive structure that encourages participation.

The ideal candidate is a connector-someone who understands the dynamics of faith communities, is deeply relational, and can mobilize worship networks at scale.

  • Track and measure the effectiveness of faith partnerships, optimizing strategies based on data and feedback.
  • Lead faith-based marketing initiatives that mobilize church leaders and their congregations for Wonder Project releases.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, publicity, and distribution teams to ensure alignment of faith engagement efforts with overall campaign goals.
  • Build and expand a significant email database of faith-based consumers and organizations for direct engagement.
  • Track and report weekly and monthly metrics on engagement, impressions, and subscribers gained from activations.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Passion for faith-based storytelling and alignment with Wonder Project's mission.
  • Self-starter who can own a portfolio of goals, build materials, and deliver measurable results.
  • Resilience, flexibility around responsibilities and priorities, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, high-growth environment.
