Job Purpose: The Director of Finance supports the Company by designing and implementing financial strategies that improve company financial performance. The Director works closely with executive management and other teams to prepare budgets and develop winning pricing analysis for government contracting efforts. Key Duties & Responsibilities > Direct, lead and manage all pricing efforts for new business in alignment with company goals and objectives.
> Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance of all contracts.
> Manage budget and forecasting processes, provide financial direction and assist in strategic decision-making efforts.
> Perform dynamic financial forecasting and scenario planning to assess future financial risks and opportunities.
> Provide monthly, annual and ad hoc analysis and reporting to executive management and identify ways to reduce costs and maximize profitability.
> Seek, manage, and maintain all banking and investment relationships.
> Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
> Oversee Companys financial systems, including Deltek Costpoint.
> Oversee implementation and improvement of financial policies and procedures.
> All other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Experience: > Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar field is preferred.
> A minimum of ten (10) years of direct, related experience.
> Direct experience supporting a government contractor preferably in the tech/cybersecurity contracts realm.
> Proven experience with government contract pricing, DCAA, FAR and CAS compliance, and Deltek Costpoint.
> Current US Government SECRET security clearance.
> Willingness to work a hybrid schedule in Arlington, VA.
> CPA or other relevant certification is a plus. Preferred Skills/Experience: > Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
> An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
> Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrated ability to spot new opportunities and spearhead new initiatives.
> A friendly and collaborative attitude; ability to work well independently and in groups with minimal supervision; ability to navigate ambiguity, and balance competing demands.
> Technical savvy is a must. Ability to use FRDA systems, including MS Office and Deltek Costpoint. FRDA is an equal opportunity employer.
