Director of Finance

The Director of Finance/ CFO heads the accounting department and is responsible for (1 Controller and 4 Staff Accountants) in performing highly specialized accounting work required to maintain the integrity of Client's accounting and financial reporting. Working under the direction of the CEO, the CFO directs and coordinates the daily workloads of the accounting department to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities of our client's books. The CFO must be an experienced Full-Charge Accountant with supervisory, review, and analyzing financial information to produce error-free accounting reports and present their accurate results.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and manage all operations of the accounting/finance department, including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billings & collections, and bi-weekly/monthly payroll for Client's
  
  
• Supervise Controller, Senior Accountants and Staff Accountants that work under his/her supervision
  
  
• Must be able to create Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions import file to import into QuickBooks
  
  
• Perform monthly job profitability reconciliation reports
  
  
• Supervise and manage accounts receivables posting of Clients payments into QuickBooks
  
  
• Supervise and manage accounts payable payments to Vendor in QuickBooks
  
  
• Supervise and manage monthly bank reconciliations on all Bank Accounts for clients
  
  
• Manage Benefits, 401K and Retirement Plans
  
  
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
  
  
• Implement, Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  
  
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
  
  
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
  
  
• Assist with financial audits, tax returns readiness, and internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  
  
• Perform month-end and year-end close process to ensure compliance with GAAP principles
  
  
• Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  
  
• Onboarding and offboarding new clients into our accounting outsourcing method
  
  
• Work with our CEO to improve financial procedures and implement them
  
  
• Perform any other accounting function that may be assigned by CEO and COO

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• BS or MBA in Accounting with 5-10 years' supervisory experience
  
  
• A CMA Certification is preferred
  
  
• Must be proficient in QuickBooks Desktop Accountant 2023 and beyond
  
  
• Prior QuickBooks Desktop implementation experience including experience with data conversions and migrations in a corporate environment a must
  
  
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel - be an advanced user
  
  
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
  
  
• Ability to effectively direct and supervise subordinates

Compensation: $125,000 to $150,000 annually
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
