RiverView Health, is a community owned, membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN.
RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Job Level: Manager/Director
Job Status: Exempt
Pay Range: ($80,000 - $120,000, DOE) + competitive benefits package
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
Job Summary: Responsible for performing overall finance function and activities to support the whole entity. Ability to work independently and possess self-directed motivation skills to establish priorities and manage workload. Will work closely with CFO to help formulate and refine the strategy and financial projections for the business.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Maintenance of the general account systems
Prepare monthly financial statements
Assist in preparation of Annual Budget, forecasting and long-term planning process
Lead the annual and mid-year cost report process
Lead the annual audit process and preparation of 990
Develop and implement policies and procedures
Provide guidance and insight on financial and budget management best practices and appropriate policy standards
Oversee and manage finance team members workloads; Identifying and communicating needs and providing leadership, support, and guidance on an on-going basis
Review Payroll and Accounting requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards
Other Responsibilities include:
Work collaboratively with entity department leaders to develop and deliver management reports and meaningful insights from data to further decision making

Qualifications
Education / Certification(s) / License(s):
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Preferred:
- MBA or CPA
- Experience with Integrated Financial Management system
- Previous Healthcare Accounting experience
Experience:
Required:
- Three or more years of progressive work experience in accounting or finance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office - knowledge of data analysis functions in Excel
- Supervisory experience
Preferred:
- Five+ years of progressive Accounting or Finance work experience in a healthcare setting
- Three+ years of supervisory experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office - knowledge of data analysis functions in Excel
