We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead and enhance our financial planning, forecasting, and reporting functions within a manufacturing environment. This role will collaborate with executive leadership to drive data-informed decision-making to support aggressive revenue and EBITDA growth and ensure plans and forecasts are appropriate to support progress against long-term goals. The Director of FP&A will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, driving operational excellence, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.

In this role you will get to:
- Lead the financial planning and forecasting, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives across cross-functional teams.
- Develop and oversee accurate financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance, focusing on gross margin drivers and operating expenses.
- Partner with operations and marketing teams to identify and implement margin expansion initiatives such as manufacturing efficiency, sourcing opportunities, and pricing.
- Provide financial guidance to support capital expenditure planning and investment decisions for Manufacturing, New Product Introduction, and IT.
- Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to all functional areas.
- Support data analytics initiatives, ensuring data availability and accuracy for leadership.
- Oversee the development and integration of financial systems and tools to streamline reporting and increase accuracy.
- Integrate FP&A activities, systems, processes, and organization for acquired companies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics, incorporating insights into financial planning.
- Mentor and develop the FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, including leadership roles in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and operational metrics.
- Proficient in financial and manufacturing systems/tools (e.g., ERP, Excel, and reporting software).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience conveying financial data to non-financial audiences and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Ability to think strategically and execute in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
