Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Vice President of FP&A, the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will prepare and maintain detailed budgets, forecasts, monthly financial reporting packages, Board materials and ad hoc financial analyses. Role is eligible for remote work, with periodic travel to the Baltimore/Annapolis, MD area.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepares the detailed annual operating budget and financial forecast models.
  • Partners with the Controller to draft the monthly financial reporting package and conduct related variance analyses.
  • Consolidates and publishes monthly financial and operational KPI scorecard.
  • Performs variance analysis and prepares related commentary.
  • Drafts materials for management and Board presentations.
  • Publishes daily gross margin report by pharmacy location.
  • Leads calculation of quarterly sales commissions.
  • Prepares cash flow forecast and related reporting.
  • Supports due diligence activities, ROI analysis, M&A and related transactions.
  • Oversees and maintains integrity of data warehouse and related tools.
  • Prepares analyses in support of the annual audit.
  • Works collaboratively with Accounting, Revenue Cycle Management and Procurement teams.
  • Performs additional ad hoc analyses as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • 8-10 years of relevant financial analysis and modeling experience.
  • Prior experience building budgets/forecasts.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA preferred.
  • Prior experience in Management Consulting, Private Equity, Investment Banking or Corporate Development, particularly in a healthcare setting, preferred.
  • Pharmacy or PBM industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Sage Intacct G/L and Power BI systems preferred.
  • Collaborative style, can-do attitude and high intellectual curiosity preferred.
