Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to lead and innovate Amangiri's culinary and service operations. This pivotal role requires a creative leader with a commitment to excellence in both food and beverage offerings. You will oversee all aspects of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring impeccable service, quality, and the highest standards of operational efficiency. Based in Canyon Point, Utah, this role reports directly to the Resort Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the departmental annual operating budget, ensuring strict adherence and effective cost control.
• Attend meetings and briefings with other department heads as required, ensuring alignment and collaboration across the property.
• Develop and implement Food & Beverage policies in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Partner closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless integration of Food & Beverage operations.
• Lead by example, ensuring all employees report punctually, in uniform, and uphold the highest service standards.
• Foster a team-oriented environment by actively engaging in staff welfare, safety, training, and career development.
• Oversee the recruitment, selection, and evaluation process for Food & Beverage staff in collaboration with Human Resources and management.
• Lead and mentor the Food & Beverage team, ensuring continuous professional growth and the delivery of exceptional service.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferred.
• A minimum of two years' experience as a Food & Beverage Director, ideally in a luxury setting.
• Proven experience in multi-outlet and banqueting operations.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard software, including Micros, Opera, Microsoft Office, and others.
• Ability to quickly learn specialized reservations and other programs as required.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and cost controls.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and always ensure the highest level of service.
• A passion for food, beverage, and hospitality excellence.
