The Director of FP&A is a significant role within TAT Technologies leading a key vertical in the financial management of the company. This includes financial forecasting, KPI's, budgeting process, operating plan, projects/bids costing, which includes price costing and pricing models to support winning proposals, cost analysis and cost controls. The Director of FP&A will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities and other projects requested by management. This role acts as the analytical/economic engine of the company to provide "optimal" business decision making. The Director of FP&A reports to the CFO and will work closely with the commercial team.

Main Responsibilities
- Create costing and pricing model for the various product lines and key customers
- Develop tools to monitor and report on profitability, cost increases, annual price escalations, and recommendations for future improvements
- Dedicated to report on key KPI's and cost drivers to facilitate a performance dialogue, manage multiple real time cost control to support GM's and BUM with meeting their monthly and quarterly goals
- Partner directly with the financial controllers and operation directors to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
- Develop financial models and analyses to support sales opportunities and strategic initiatives
- New proposal and contract review and risk assessments including unusual costs, investments needed and legal wording
- Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool, Salesforce and Dashboard reports
- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies
- Lead the enhancement and compliance of Business Finance processes, standards and systems
- Manage a team of five to ten people across various locations
Requirements
Professional Experience/ Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- BS in Economics, Finance or Business
- 3+ years of experience in similar or progressive roles (manufacturing company experience is a plus)
- General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
- Experience with a major company or a division of a large company
- Hands on, able to roll up sleeves and perform day to day activities besides managerial role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
- A demonstrated record of success
- Good professional judgment
