GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Director of Grants plays a critical role in the development and execution of an integrated grants and partnership strategy for Evara Health and its affiliate organizations, including the Evara Foundation and Evara Health Institute. Leveraging a deep understanding of Evara's priorities and programs, the Director collaborates closely with leadership across the enterprise to align the grants and partnerships strategy to organizational goals, fuel sustainable growth through external funding streams, and advance key initiatives through collaboration Through a dual focus on strategy and execution, the Director of Grants fortifies the foundations for program expansion, deeper partnerships aligned to mission, and continued investment in Evara's vision for the future.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborates with leadership to align the grants and partnerships strategy with organizational priorities
  • Evaluates partnership and funding opportunities to inform organizational decision-making
  • Identifies and cultivates health care, community, and funding partnerships to lay the groundwork for collaborative initiatives and grant proposals
  • Facilitates collaboration among partners to leverage synergies and jointly secure funding
  • Establishes and maintains visibility with potential external funders
  • Provides guidance on project planning, development, and strategic grants management
  • Leads the targeting and development of large, complex grant programs
  • Serves as the lead grant writer and manager, overseeing successful submissions, administration, data collection, evaluation planning, and dissemination of program updates to partners
  • Ensures grant and program activities adhere to organizational policies, funder expectations, and regulatory requirements

  • Strictly adheres to all Evara Health, HIPAA, HRSA, State, Federal and accreditation agency rules and regulations

EDUCAITON AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum (3) years' experience, or equivalent in a combination of education and experience
  • Prior experience with healthcare and federal granting agencies, preferred
