07/15/2024ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
  • Administers and assists in the development and implementation of personnel related policies, protocols and procedures for efficiency and to maintain legal compliance.
  • Facilitates the development and implementation of department goals and systems. Makes recommendations to continually improve the efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Facilitates and oversees benefits administration for all employees. Monthly reconciliation of benefit billing statements.
  • Coordinates the employment processing activities as directed by the Director of Business Services or Superintendent.
  • Maintains personnel files in accordance with regulatory compliance standards.
  • Manages the District evaluation tool in collaboration with the Department of Teaching and Learning. Maintains evaluation data for all instruction staff.
  • Maintains a staff database for certification and endorsement tracking and review to ensure all staff licenses are current and valid.
  • Facilitates the annual GCN required training for all staff.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefit laws and regulations.
  • Prepares and submits state of Illinois reporting (ex. EIS) annually.
  • Monitors and maintains the seniority and RIF lists for classified personnel.
  • Provide technical support to staff for human resource related needs including but not limited to pensions, insurance, tuition reimbursement, leave of absences and verification of employment.
  • Review and process unemployment claims.
  • Participates in the preparation for and participates in the collective bargaining negotiations process.
  • Schedules and conducts regular labor-management meetings to address operating issues and take preventative and/or corrective action to maintain effective relationships and contract compliance.
  • Responsible for assuring legal and program compliance of job descriptions.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.
  • Work is guided by, and must be in compliance with, federal and state law, policy direction of the School Board, Administrator direction, compliance with state and local regulatory requirements, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Responds promptly to staff needs and requests.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and understanding of "client-centered" support and service.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MA in Educational Leadership or Educational Administration
  • Illinois Type 75

SALARY: A regionally completive compensation package will be offered to the successful candidate.
