Job Summary:
The Director of Human Resources is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall organization's plan and strategic direction. This includes oversight of talent acquisition, organizational and performance management, training and development, compensation, and HR technology. The Director of HR serves as a trusted advisor to leadership and a champion for company culture and employee engagement.

Core Functions:
- Recruiting and Hiring:
- Identifying staffing needs.
- Developing job descriptions and posting job openings.
- Sourcing and screening candidates.
- Conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.
- Negotiating offers and onboarding new hires.
- Employee Relations:
- Addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Implementing and enforcing company policies.
- Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.
- Managing employee terminations.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Administering payroll and ensuring accurate compensation.
- Managing employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.).
- Conducting salary surveys and developing compensation strategies.
- Training and Development:
- Identifying training needs and developing training programs.
- Delivering training sessions and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Supporting employee career development.
- Compliance:
- Ensuring HR practices comply with labor laws and regulations.
- Maintaining accurate employee records.
- Conducting investigations and addressing legal issues.
Other Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall organizational objectives.
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, performance management, development, and offboarding.
- Provide leadership and guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and legal compliance.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business strategy.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Champion a high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze HR metrics and develop action plans to address trends and issues.
- Oversee HR team members, fostering professional growth and excellence in service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- 8-10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of labor law, HR best practices, and current talent trends.
- Proven track record of leading HR strategy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with HRIS and HR analytics tools.
Salary: $120,000 - $175,000 based on experience and qualifications
