Job Description

Specifically, the Director of Information Services will perform the following duties:
Enable stakeholders to better leverage DnA tools and resources;
Develop stakeholder access to analytics tools, training, expedited service pathways, data, analytics
community forums and other resources in order to improve the use of data as an asset
Develop data resource orchestration approaches and promote data governance;
Encourage system-wide adoption of and adherence to standards and policies;
Promote use of the DnA service delivery platform to increase self-service adoption;
Capture feedback on the DnA system;
Explore performance improvement opportunities and suggest remediations for roadblocks in using
the DnA system;
Forge relationships between enterprise information management, analytics center of excellence and
NYCHHC system stakeholders by facilitating communication, collaboration and
orchestration for enhanced data resource productivity;
Evaluate data capture workflows and offer process improvement and information system validation
recommendations that lead to improvement of data quality;
Analyze, review and measure service level performance against agreed-upon service level agreements;
Establish, implement and enforce standards, procedures and service levels to ensure compliance with
Operational Level Agreements with both internal and external service providers;
Work with business and clinical stakeholders and service providers to define proper metrics and key
performance indicators in evaluating service delivery quality and performance levels;
Evaluate and define strategies for improving DnA processes and procedures; and
Develop and implement changes and improvements to the DnA system.

Minimum Qualifications

Req. Master's in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, IT Project Management, or closely related field; and the successful candidate will have one (1) year of experience as a project coordinator or project manager in the healthcare industry, which includes one (1) year of experience with the following:
Drafting strategic plans for the implementation of projects to support end- user functionality
and workflows;
Working on business plans and conceptual IT budgets;
Serving as liaison between internal/external teams and all stakeholders;
Working in the Agile and Waterfall environments; and
Building and maintaining Excel-based BI reports.
