QUALIFICATIONS:
JOB SUMMARY: Working under the direction of the Chief of Administration the Director of Information Technology Services will oversee the organization's technology requirements. They ensure that technology solutions meet the needs of the business and formulate IT management strategies to maintain the functionality, security, and accessibility of the organization's IT framework. They will provide critical setup of necessary systems. Serves as the cyber security officer to direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security plan. Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data and servers. Create policy and process for a disaster recovery and business continuity plan. They will supervise, oversee, and develop the staff of the IT department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA in Computer Sciences, IT (Information Technology), or related discipline preferred
- Ability to use good judgment, good customer service and work under pressure in consistently evolving projects while maintaining flexibility
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills to navigate challenges and present a strong professional interface with external partners providing effective communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of budgeting process and ability to determine quality of products and services with attention to conservative spending as needed

Essential Job Duties
OVERSIGHT
- Responsible for training staff on implementation and use of recent technology, programs, or platforms with support from Director of Talent Development
- Proactively troubleshoot problems and develop solutions
- Manage all aspects of organizations ticketing system, conducting time studies to determine efficiency of response time
- Maintain, update, and ensure that cybersecurity and technology policies are current and followed
- Supervise IT Department staff as a supervisor who provides evaluations, approves payroll, time off requests and invests in their growth, providing mentorship opportunities
- Responsible for facilitating communication between the IT department, their supervisor, and their direct reports
- Point of contact for phone systems including issuing phones and phone numbers, tracking all devices in a detailed efficient manner updating regularly for changes and updating and distribution of phone list
- Proficiency in IT project management, including overseeing system integration and improvement projects from inception to completion
- Manage escalated incidents within the guidelines of regulations, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including delegating tasks and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Ability to identify future organizational needs and develop strategic plans to address them, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity threats and IT project management.
- Experience in effectively managing IT budgets and resources to ensure optimal allocation and cost-effectiveness
- Negotiate contracts with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure favorable terms and optimal service delivery
- Responsible for overseeing server security and cyber security measures to protect our organization's data and infrastructure from potential threats
- Policy Review and Development: Review existing IT policies, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for new policies as needed
- Proactively troubleshooting problems and developing solutions, providing excellent communication to internal and external customers
- Implement staff training through KnowBe4 online system tracking compliance and meeting with KnowBe4 implementation team in collaboration with Director of Talent Development
SYSTEMS INTEGRATION & HARDWARE
- Experience in managing electronic health record (EHR) migration projects, or other related migration projects preferred
- Available off hours for system maintenance and upgrades, providing technical support and oversight at the network level
- Provide direction for solving of software and hardware computer issues throughout the organization
- Providing services that encompass the management and monitoring of systems and networks critical to Jericho Road Community Health Center technologies
- Manage technology inventory ensuring new hires obtain necessary hardware and work with HR to acquire hardware upon employee leaving the organization
- Collaboration with the EHR team for system integration with Medent and Dentrix
- Develop training programs for new hires and conducting company-wide technology update sessions to educate employees about new features and best practices with support from Director of Talent Development
TEAMWORK
- Commit to regular attendance and participation in senior leadership director meetings to provide IT insights and align departmental goals with organizational objectives
- Actively participate in Patient Safety Risk Management meetings to address IT concerns
- Support management in analyzing trends for inventory management and making strategic recommendations for optimization
- Ability to proactively communicate both within the IT department and with other stakeholders across the organization
- Actively participates in cross-functional projects to support JRCHC (Jericho Road Community Health Center) operations while demonstrating the ability to work as a team member
- Collaborate with members of ticketing system to monitor efficiency of system, run reports, and collaborate on additions as needed
- As needed respond to tickets when staff is short or when the number of tickets is accumulating
