Director of Information Technology

Description

The Director of Information Technology (IT Director) upholds the e3 vision within all aspects of IT. The IT Director directs all aspects of Information Technology operations, spearheading the IT strategic plan and supervising the Information Technology Department, with particular emphasis on cybersecurity, digital security, and safeguarding the organization's digital infrastructure. This position will serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements

Essential Duties:

• Design a scalable IT infrastructure tailored to organizational needs to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Oversee product licenses, budgeting, and compliance.
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies as needed, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
• Oversee the integration and management of third-party tools, ensuring smooth interoperability with internal systems.
• Lead efforts in IT risk management and response, ensuring cybersecurity threats are identified and mitigated.
• Develop and manage IT policies, including data security, user access, and IT governance frameworks.
• Manage IT budget, track departmental expenses, and allocate resources effectively.
• Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to identify technological needs and integrate solutions.
• Supervise and guide IT staff (if applicable), ensuring all projects and operations run smoothly.
• Oversee the overall IT strategy and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and mission.
• Develop and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect digital assets, infrastructure, and data.
• Lead IT change processes to ensure seamless transitions and minimize operational disruptions.
• Manage business intelligence strategies to provide actionable data insights for decision-making.
• Negotiate tech contracts and manage the tech stack to align with business needs and optimize costs.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience working in IT operations, managing information technology projects
• Demonstrated expertise in managing cloud-based enterprise infrastructure, including SaaS platforms (e.g., Intacct, G Suite), cloud storage solutions, and integrated system administration across distributed environments to support scalability, security, and ministry continuity
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices for cyber security
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
• Proficient in project management principles
