Summary:

The Regent Bank Director of Credit Administration managing the Loan Operations Supervisors and staff in all activities including closings, funding, exceptions tracking, payments, file maintenance, daily reporting, and monthly and/quarterly reports. This position will ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and ensure training needs for current and future compliance needs are completed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Direct reporting of all loan operations activity, including closing, funding, exceptions tracking, payments, file maintenance, daily reporting reviews, loan imaging, monthly and/or quarterly reports as required
  • Direct a team of supervisors and specialists to ensure daily workflow meets turn around and quality expectations, as well as provide excellent internal and external client relations
  • Direct special projects, ensure back-ups are assigned for various functions in Loan Operations, and perform other duties as needed to ensure the department runs successfully
  • Ensure performance metrics are standardized to ensure department performance can be reviewed on standard measurements and criteria
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures, and make sure all staff are trained and are adhering to the policies and procedures at all times
  • Functions as direct contact for compliance as it relates to all loan portfolio related audit functions and requests both internal and external
  • Maintains communication and workflow between front line employees and back office
  • Work directly with CCO on all exams & audits to ensure information is gathered and responded to in a timely manner. Work as centralized contact between examiners/auditors and lenders.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education And/Or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or 10 years of industry related experience.
  • Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in Loan Operations

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure of deadlines
  • All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background, credit, and drug screening

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Sitting for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:

The working conditions are generally comfortable with minimal exposure to noise, heat, dust and other related items. All employees are required to maintain a neat and safe work area.
