Overview

Position Summary:

Lead strategic initiatives focused on mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships within the dental industry. This role involves identifying growth opportunities, conducting due diligence, negotiating transactions, and fostering relationships with doctor groups to drive business expansion.

The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including corporate development, legal, and operations, to evaluate potential acquisition targets, assess synergies, and develop financial models to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Develop and execute M&A strategies to expand the organization's market presence.
Identify, assess, and pursue acquisition targets, joint ventures, and partnerships with dental providers.
Oversee due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation analysis.
Cultivate relationships with doctor groups and individual practices.
Structure partnership agreements, including equity models, joint ventures, and employment arrangements.
Ensure seamless integration of acquired or partnered practices into the organization.
Collaborate with legal, finance, and operation teams to structure transactions.
Manage contract execution, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment.
Perform financial analysis, ROI assessments, and synergy evaluations.
Develop business cases for executive leadership and board approval.
Partner with Human Resources, Information Technology, and compliance to ensure a smooth transition.

Financial & Analytical Expertise - Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling valuation methods, and ROI analysis. Strong understanding of due diligence, risk assessment, and deal structuring.

Relationship Management - Ability to build and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare executives, and key stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to foster trust and collaboration in negotiations.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge - In-depth knowledge of healthcare laws, Anti-Kickback statutes and HIPAA. Ability to ensure all transactions comply with federal and state regulations. Understanding of payor contracts, reimbursement structures, and industry trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or finance, or related field

MBA degree preferred

Experience:

5+ years working in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, or doctor partnership.

Qualifications/Training:

Strong financial modeling and due diligence expertise

In-depth knowledge of dental regulations, compliance, and reimbursement structures

Exceptional communication and relationship building skills

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex transactions

Work Environment: The position is a work from home opportunity primarily entailing work on computers/laptops, may require up to 10% travel.
