The Director of Maintenance is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations for a fleet of corporate jets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. This role involves strategic planning, management of maintenance personnel, and optimization of maintenance processes to maintain the highest level of aircraft readiness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance programs and procedures to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
- Supervise and manage the maintenance team including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of various aircraft types including Gulfstream, Falcon, Cessna, Learjet, Pilatus, and Hawker.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely maintenance and repair of aircraft to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and inspections, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Budget and manage the maintenance department's finances, including parts inventory and vendor contracts.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of corporate jet maintenance, specifically with MRO processes.
- Experience working with Gulfstream, Falcon, Cessna, Learjet, Pilatus, and Hawker aircraft.
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is required.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in maintenance tracking software and regulatory compliance guidelines.
