Responsibilities:
Collaborate with various departments across the university to lead communications that enhance reputation and enrollment.
Apply creative problem-solving to deliver effective communications within limited resources.
Oversee the team, ensuring deadlines are met and quality remains high. Manage the unit budget and provide strategic oversight for budgets related to different communication sectors.
Develop high-level strategies to highlight the distinctive qualities of the university, utilizing all forms of communications.
Offer strategic PR counsel to the leadership, identifying trends to elevate the university's visibility and reputation.
Connect the leadership with national media and facilitate leadership expeditions to engage with higher education editors and thought leaders.
Direct market research to provide insight to the creative team in developing communications that reach key audiences with impactful messages.
Maintain key relationships with various internal stakeholders.
Ensure the university's brand/identity is consistently used throughout all publications and digital communications.
Analyze outcome analytics and use this data to inform future communications for greater effectiveness.
Requirements
Extensive experience in the higher education sector is essential
Demonstrable proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
Proven ability to utilize Facebook Insights for effective marketing strategies
Proficiency in Google AdWords and Google Analytics to drive digital marketing efforts
Prior experience in creating and managing effective advertisement campaigns
Strong understanding of brand awareness strategies and implementation
Experience in campaign planning and execution in the higher education industry
Familiarity with collateral management for marketing purposes
Proven expertise in digital marketing within the higher education sector
