We are seeking a Director of Medical Staff Services to oversee the Medical Staff Services Department at a premier healthcare facility. In this pivotal role, you will ensure proper credentialing and privileges for physicians and other medical staff, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Medical Staff Services and Credential Verification Office.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and Chief Medical Officer to support credentialing and privileging processes.
- Supervise a team of three Credentialing Specialists.
- Drive operational efficiency and maintain excellent service standards within the department.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business-related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Dual certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services as a CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Staff Management) and CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing credentials verification and medical staff services.
