RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
QUALIFICATIONS

- Build new client relationships and develop valuable revenue opportunities with key decision makers at prospective and existing customers, as well as distributors.
- Develop the Company's Business Development strategy, including how to identify, build and manage partner relationships; crafting and negotiating partnership agreements; and developing and executing processes to evaluate the successfulness of outreach and campaigns; among others.
- Create and develop strategic business development plans and objectives in partnership with the Company's Leadership Team to support MII's international territory and market expansion.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key executives at partners in and across various target markets, including both clinical and non-clinical customers, as well as medical distributors, IDNs and GPOs to deliver upon core business development growth metrics, opportunity identification, and partnership pipeline growth.
- Demonstrate a broad comprehension of the needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products, and technologies associated with the current global medical device market.
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and yearly sales targets.
- Collaborate with MII's CEO and senior leadership team on financial reporting, new product development, sales forecasting, and departmental budgeting, among others.
- Aid in attracting, retaining and developing talent to support Company goals and growth.
- Travel: domestic and international; needs will vary at times, can be up to 30% in a month; additional, special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, communications, or related field from a four-year college or university required.
- Minimum 8-10 years' Sales and/or Business Development experience; medical device/healthcare industry experience required, preferably in disposables.
- 5+ years of demonstrated success developing executive-level relationships.
- Experience with CRM systems
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the medical device industry, a strong plus.
- Experience managing, mentoring, and training a team of direct reports is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs.
- Well-versed on healthcare services, market trends, developments, and opportunities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations.
- Versatility, flexibility, and eager to work within a competitive market with enthusiasm.
