Full Time Company Overview: Goldfish Swim School is the leading swim school franchise in the nation dedicated to teaching children to be safer in and around the water while making their experience GOLDEN! With a strong commitment to innovation and client satisfaction, we have established ourselves as a key player in the market since 2006. Goldfish Swim School BHB Operations - a multi-unit franchisee to Goldfish Swim School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of New School Openings to join our team and drive our business growth to the next level.
Summary: As a Director of New School Openings, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the successful opening of new franchise locations across the country. You will collaborate closely with franchise owners, corporate teams, and external contractors to oversee all aspects of the opening process. This position requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a dedication to upholding brand standards and operational excellence. In order to be successful in this role you will need to travel up to 75% of working time.
Director Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely openings of new franchise locations, coordinating efforts across marketing, finance, and operations.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Ensure new school is generating leads through all marketing efforts and ultimately driving enrollment numbers prior to opening that will meet or exceed break-even goals.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop/train a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, human resources and finance to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
Support: Provide guidance and support to new location General Managers during the pre and post opening phase, including training, operational setup, and adherence to brand standards.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of school opening processes and strategies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices for future projects.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in leadership, business administration, operations or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role overseeing new school openings.

Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success
Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management
Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
