We are seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team at Candlewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation. This pivotal role involves overseeing nursing operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and enhancing the quality of care provided to our residents. Starting negotiable rate for the position is $100,000.00 annually

Responsibilities
  • Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to best practices in patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that align with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the creation and management of individualized care plans for residents.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and other healthcare standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments of patient health status and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among clinical staff to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff to promote professional development.


Requirements

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license; BSN preferred.
  • Proven experience in nursing administration or leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Experience with acute care settings; hospice care experience is a plus.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
