Director of Nursing Services

Salary: $160,000 annually

Retention Bonus: $15,000 after 1 year active service.

Shift: Monday to Friday Flexible

Location: Yonkers/Riverdale

Nurse Supervisor position overseeing nursing staff and medical services within certified programs. Supports directors and managers in developing care plans for individuals in agency programs.

Responsibilities:

• Train and supervise support staff with AMAP administration.
• Provide on-call support for day habilitation program.
• Collect and interpret clinical data for interventions.
• Prioritize and deliver necessary nursing care.
• Assist in developing individualized care plans.
• Initiate and ensure compliance with doctor's orders.
• Utilize nursing process for triage when necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with program leadership.
• Participate in healthcare-related committees.
• Provide oversight for residents' health needs.
• Interview, supervise, and evaluate nursing team.
• Contribute to service plan development.
• Review nursing communications and progress notes.
• Provide care for medical emergencies or changes.
• Maintain accurate medical chart documentation.
• Assist in virtual and in-person screenings.
• Attend staff meetings and medication reviews.
• Monitor compliance with nursing service plan expectations.

Qualifications:

• NYS RN Certification.
• Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) Degree preferred.
• Ability to triage urgent situations and stay focused.
• Excellent reading and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid unrestricted NYS Driver's License. Ability to travel and transport individuals.
